Chi Rho Camp 2008
Have a Heart was the theme for summer
camps this year. Forty two campers and
eight staff enjoyed a week of worship,
study, fun and games. It's always great
to see young people form relationships
with each other and deepen their
relationship with God. The experience of
camp will last their whole life through.

Thanks to the generous support of the NE Area Churches and the hard
work of many individuals, Camp Christian built a new Women’s Bath House
this spring. The total cost for construction was $31,000.00. Fund Raising
started in January and the Bath House was finished just in time for the
start of our 2008 summer camping season.
The new Bath House features a spacious floor plan, floor to ceiling tile,
heat & air, on-demand water heater, and a beautiful natural stone veneer.
Ample electrical outlets have been provided for hair dryers, curling irons,
and all the other accessories women like to plug in. The Bath House also
has handicap accommodations.
A special thanks goes to Pete Clark of Clark Construction for his many
hours of hard work to complete the Bath House on-time and on budget.
The construction of this Bath House is a sign of new life for Camp Christian.
The fact that this project was fully funded and executed in just a few short
months shows the love, support, and commitment NE Oklahomans have for
Camp Christian .
The Camp Christian Committee is now raising money for a new Men’s Bath
House to be built in the spring of 2009. If you would like to help make this
happen, please contact the NE Area office (918-743-6202) or Camp
Christian (918-476-5712).
